The Healing Sessions



Being in the heart is essential to:

  • Emotional balance 
  • Physical health 
  • Mental harmony           
  • Energetic Function

Your physical body tends to be the ‘you’ of which you are most aware, particularly when in pain.  However, just as you have a physical body, you also have an emotional body, a mental body and an energetic body (the latter actually has 4 aspects).  These are all housed within the physical self, directly connecting to it and to each other.

Pain occurring in any one of these bodies is also expressed in the others.  So, for example, emotional pain is often expressed as physical pain, as well as unhappiness and low energy.

Being in the heart enables you to be aware of all of these levels of your being so you can identify the root cause of your pain and let it go.

A persistent physical pain that resists physical treatment may be enabled to shift once the underlying emotional pain is recognised and released, for example.

Indeed the bodies store memories of all that has happened to us and all that we have felt about those events.  We carry these until we are ready to let them go through being in the heart and returning to the heart of being.

My work draws on:

and is tailored to you as an individual. The whole person is brought into the picture to get to the root cause of the presenting difficulty.  The meridian and chakra energies are also balanced, reintroducing body mind wisdom.

Therapeutic work is at times seated, standing, or lying on the couch.  Please wear clothes that you find normally comfortable.

Depending on the type of distress you are experiencing, it may only take one or two sessions to experience release of the energy blockages causing the problem.  In other cases it may take longer; you will heal at your own rate and each person is entirely unique in this respect.

Afterwards you may feel a little tired or emotional, especially after the first session.  It is advisable to drink sufficient water in the hours after your session to help your body with the release of stored toxins.

You do not have to be in distress to come for a session.  Many clients also come seeking deeper self awareness, from breathing and posture through to meditation and life purpose.
